Is this barrel chair spacious enough for all-day sitting and relaxing?

Absolutely, we designed it to feel like a cozy, supportive hug. The iconic rounded silhouette contours perfectly around your shoulders, creating built-in armrests. Inside the tub chair, we packed high-density foam that molds to your body but never sags. Whichever way you prefer to lounge, this wrapped design gives you that perfect nest-like feel for reading or binging your favorite shows.

Will this swivel reclining chair tip over backward when I lean all the way back?

Not at all. Your safety is our top priority, which is why we built it with a heavy, solid wood base. This timber foundation acts as a natural anchor. The center of gravity stays incredibly low, meaning the chair remains firmly planted even at maximum recline. Whether you are using it as a space-saving solution or enjoying the smooth movement of our compact models, the premium craftsmanship ensures zero tipping and zero wobbling.

Is the motion on this swivel rocker recliner chair quiet and smooth?

Yes, it is smooth as butter and dead silent. We know how annoying a squeaky seat can be, so this rocking chair is built with a reinforced steel chassis and self-lubricating bearings. Whether you are spinning around or rocking back and forth to unwind, you won’t hear a single creak. The transitions are completely seamless and whisper-quiet.

Can I use this chair as a dedicated Reading Chair for long periods?

That is exactly what it was built for. It is the ultimate literary oasis. We tuned the ergonomics of this comfy seat to keep your spine aligned and take pressure off your lower back. The deep cushioning supports your posture so your body doesn't get stiff or tired, letting you lose track of time in your favorite books without any aches.

What are the main design highlights of this modern swivel barrel chair?

It is designed to be a standout piece that elevates your entire room. Our contemporary accent chair breaks up the boring, rigid straight lines of standard living room furniture with its sleek curves. Because it looks stunning from every single angle, you can place it right in the center of an open floor plan. Plus, the natural wood trim adds a high-end, designer touch to your home.

How easy is it to clean and maintain this electric reclining chair?

We made the upkeep as low-maintenance as possible for everyday life. For routine cleaning, a quick wipe down with a dry microfiber cloth is all it takes. If any crumbs get into the crevices, just use a standard vacuum brush attachment. The wiring underneath the power base is fully shielded and tucked away, keeping it safe from pet paws and vacuum cleaners.

Does this swivel rocking chair offer good lumbar and neck support?

Yes, it offers targeted ergonomic support from head to toe. This ergonomic recliner features dual-density foam zoning. The lower section fills in the gap at your lower back, while the plush upper headrest cradles your neck. When you activate the electronic recline or enjoy the gentle rocking motion, your muscles can fully relax, drastically reducing fatigue.

What are the exact dimensions, and will it feel cramped for taller users?

Not at all, it is designed to look compact but feel incredibly spacious. The seat width is a generous 36.5 inches, giving you plenty of room to curl up or shift around comfortably. When upright, the chair has a neat 39.5-inch depth, making it easy to fit into smaller layouts. When you fully extend, the total length stretches out to 62.5 inches from the top headrest to the footrest. Even though it works perfectly for tight spaces, the high 40.5-inch backrest ensures that your head and neck get full support. It delivers the luxurious lounge experience of a full-sized sectional, but in a smart, single-chair footprint.

I have never ordered furniture online before, so I was a little nervous. We first ordered a power sofa bed and wow! We love it! It fits perfectly in our smaller living room. It is comfortable and soft. It is scratch resistant. We have two cats and have no snags on the sofa from claws. We loved our sofa so much that we then ordered a barrel swivel rocker power recliner. We love it too! It goes well with the sofa and is very comfortable. We like that it swivels and rocks along with reclining. It fits well in our smaller space too! Ordering was easy. The shipping and delivery were fairly fast. Both items came undamaged. Thank you! Jill from Iowa

The Oliver-Swivel power barrel recliners are very comfortable and work great. They are a great compliment to the other Povison furniture we purchased and have upgraded our home theater considerably. The quality stands out and the price can't be beat. Shipping and delivery was quick and painless. It took less than 20 mins for the white glove delivery to setup the recliners and ensure they worked properly. They look great in the room!

Used Povison to furnish our Media room and so glad we did! High quality and beautiful design. Goes so well with our Organic Modern aesthetic. And the recliners are comfy! Definitely get white glove service - so worth it. They were great to work with.

I was skeptical at first because the round shape was different from what I was used to, but we absolutely love these recliners! They fit perfectly in our living room, and we love both the style and the material. A couple of weeks after we got them, my sister and her family came to visit, and the chairs were a huge hit. My brother-in-law joked that he wanted to take them home with him! They also passed the kid test. My sister has a 10-year-old and a 4-year-old, so naturally, we had a couple of spills during their visit. Cleanup was a breeze, and there wasn’t a trace of the spills left behind. They’re comfortable, stylish, easy to clean, and have turned out to be a great addition to our living room. We’re very happy with our purchase!
