There is no need to worry about falling. The height adjustment is very smooth. I'm very satisfied with the overall quality and feel that it can be used for a very long time.

The bar stools are sturdy and beautiful in the kitchen. My husband assembled them quickly. The wood grain is elegant. The one my husband uses is buckled a bit already. I like so much that I have two more coming in white.
