1. What is a floating TV stand?

A floating TV stand is a wall-mounted TV console that stays off the floor, so the whole setup looks lighter and more minimal. It is a great option if you want a cleaner media wall, a more modern living room, and less visual bulk than a traditional entertainment center.
2. Is a floating media console good for small living rooms?

Yes. A floating media console works especially well in smaller spaces because it keeps the floor visible and helps the room feel more open. If you want a modern TV wall that looks less crowded, this style usually makes a big difference.
3. What material do you use for your floating TV stands?

Our current floating TV stand collection includes MDF designs, which helps us keep the profile clean, stable, and modern. Some selected models in our broader floating lineup also feature real wood doors, including pine, depending on the design and price tier.
4. Do your floating TV stands come with LED lighting?

Many of them do. Several current Povison floating TV stand models are built with adjustable LED lighting, which adds a softer glow under the console and gives the media wall a more elevated, finished look at night.
5. Are floating TV stands harder to clean around?

Actually they are usually easier. Because the console is lifted off the floor, it is much easier to sweep, vacuum, or run a robot cleaner underneath. That is one of the reasons floating TV cabinets work so well in busy living rooms.
6. Do your floating media consoles have enough storage?

Yes. Our floating TV consoles are designed to keep the wall looking clean without giving up storage. Depending on the model, you will find multiple cabinets or drawers that help hide remotes, routers, media devices, and everyday clutter.
7. How do I choose the right size to match my TV?

Start with width first. As a general rule, choose a floating TV stand that is at least as wide as your TV. In our current sizing guidance, 48-inch consoles work well for TVs up to 55 inches, 63–71 inches works well for 65-inch TVs, and 78–94 inches supports 75–85 inch TVs.
8. Does installation require drilling? Are mounting hardware and templates included?

Yes. Our floating TV stands are wall-mounted, so drilling is part of the installation. We include mounting hardware and clear templates, and our installation guides show wall drilling, expansion plugs, and backplate mounting as part of the setup.
9. What is the maximum weight capacity, and what wall types work best?

It depends on the model, but most of our floating entertainment centers support about 44–100 lbs. For wall type, standard wood-stud walls work best. Concrete and brick walls can also work with the right anchors and tools. We do not recommend hollow gypsum board or drywall alone for load-bearing installation.
10. How is the LED light powered, and can I adjust the brightness?

Our LED-equipped floating TV stands are designed to be plugged in, and on supported models you can adjust the lighting directly. We offer built-in LED lighting with brightness control, and some models let you turn the light on or off, change brightness, and switch lighting modes from the control panel or integrated buttons.
11. Is the material moisture-resistant? Is it okay for humid environments?

On selected models, yes. Some of our floating TV stands use E0 MDF with solid wood veneer and are described as having durable, moisture-resistant layers. That said, they are still indoor furniture, so they are best for normal living-room humidity rather than wet or highly damp environments.
