200Mid Century Modern Walnut Wood Dining Table For 8-10

This table is not what I expected in terms of quality. Which is too bad because it looks great and I expected to have it for a while. It also took almost 2 months to arrive. 1. The top and bottom surfaces are a thin wood laminate mounted to some kind of interior structure. Its not solid wood but more like how Ikea builds their wood furniture. So it sounds hollow and thin if you knock on the top surface. You can see in the photo how the laminate peeled off already. 2. The cool looking legs are not solid but some kind of veneer over a frame or molded support. The support might even be plastic, it sounds so thin and cheap. 3. The legs have bolts that are meant to recess into holes cut into the bottom of the table. The problem is either the holes are not deep enough or the bolts are too long. We had to cut the bolts shorter to get the legs to sit flat and even on the table. Its a great looking table but not solid wood and required an angle grinder to cut off the extra long bolts before it would even fit together. It now sits in our dining room looking nice - but its not a well crafted piece of furniture.
